"8 podium finishes..."

I have been competing in saloon car racing for just over 3 years now, for the 2007 season we made the decision to move to a new class of car (Citroen Saxo VTR) and were looking for the best suspension set up possible. Having had JTECH highly recommended to us from various top motorsport establishments, we approached Jamie for his suggestions and were advised on the best overall suspension set up and package for our car.

The Ohlin's suspension that JTECH recommended and fitted totally transformed the car not only in its handling and braking, but ultimately making it one of the most competitive cars on the grid, giving it a much more even tyre wear which is crucial as a race progresses.

To me personally it was JTECH's honesty, on track knowledge, and precision to detail along with continuous advice and alterations throughout the season which meant the car was highly competitive at every circuit.

Thanks to JTECH the 2007 season has resulted in 8 podium finishes, including 2 wins and new lap record set at Castle Combe.

"Express my gratitude ..."

Just a quick note to express my gratitude in transforming the ride and handling of my car - my modified MK2 Golf that has had a lot of time and effort spent in choosing the right components along with assembling them all together to make a fast road / sometime track car. Unfortunately the sum of the components didn't quite achieve the aim originally thought, but after discussions with JTech and a thorough assessment by them, a plan of action was made to correct the ill mannered handling and ride of the car. The custom built and modified suspension was well worth the investment, as the car will now ride and handle well enough to tackle the most bumpy of A and B roads, whilst still providing the control over the chassis that is needed when it is on a trackday.

As with anyone who modifies cars, I understand that the effects of changing components to enable quicker progress to be made nearly always a trade off in some area or another, but I can honestly say that with the changes made by JTech have completely transformed the nature of the car, almost to the point that there is no trade-off. As ever, there will always be tweeks to the overall setup of my car, but no-one else but JTech will be trusted to assess the needs I have and provide a workable solution. "Have struck gold..."

Having had new cars for the last 10 years I have grown accustomed to the poor quality of workmanship and service offered by the larger garages, even from the "premium brands". Recently I have tried to avoid this by utilising smaller companies and at last have struck gold!

Jtech, run by Jim Packham, offers a comforting and knowledgeable voice on the other end of the phone, and has provided me with impeccable service recently, standard maintenance on my Golf GTi, replacement clutch on my Boxster, and emergency work on the Golf when the window glass disappeared into the door! Every time the car has been collected from my office and returned, as promised, on time, with all work completed, and at reasonable cost.

You can't ask for more than that!

My ageing Audi A4... What would I do without Jtech, the old girl has just topped 116K miles and all 200bhp of the chiped 1.8T motor are still pulling as strong as ever. Brakes, clutch, suspension - all rebuilt and it's better than when it was new.

Just thought I would drop you an email to say how impressed I have been with the way you have dealt with and approached the part restoration of my 74 911RS Porsche. The care, attention and almost obsession to detail have surpassed my expectations, even down to researching and getting the wheel colour paint to the correct shade.

The welding is invisible the suspension work has transformed the car, fantastic. I would have no hesitation in recommending you for similar work to my friends in the Porsche club.
